10/02/2010Travers Smith acts on Blacks Leisure Group plc´s placing and open offer and firm placing
Travers Smith has advised existing client Blacks Leisure Group plc ("Blacks Leisure") on its £22 million placing and open offer and firm placing of new ordinary shares by Singer Capital Markets Limited following advising on the successful implementation of a company voluntary arrangement in December 2009. Head of Corporate Finance Spencer Summerfield led the Travers Smith team that included corporate assistant Jon Reddington.
Blacks Leisure is listed on the Official List and traded on the London Stock Exchange´s market for listed securities and is one of the UK´s leading retailers of outdoor specialist clothing and equipment, trading from over 300 stores under the Blacks, Millets and Freespirit fascias.
